Hello, hello! I'm Pai, the head administrator here at Welcome Serenity! =3 Welcome to all new members, and I encourage you to start making characters and begin rping! Shopkeeper positions will open shortly, once we get enough members where shopkeepers are required. Also, feel free to chat with other members in our c-box or introduce yourself on the Bulletin Board! I'm trying to get the word about this place around with affiliating and advertising, so wish me luck! XD That's all for now. --PAI!
The first stop on your journey should always be to stop and check the town's laws. Learn about the do's and the don't's, the region's history, location, climate, or the type of plant and animal life.
Located next to the Town Hall, the Bulletin Board is constantly updated. From word and forum games to town and site announcements, to ads and affiliate requests, to the posting of things neighbors make, to suggestions for the town!
Affiliate/Advertising Board Located Here. Guest Friendly.
Behind the counter in the Town Hall lies a mysterious door that is said to have never been opened by a townsmember, not even the one with the highest honors. The staff gather here to discuss, solve problems, and talk about the townspeople.
All of the completed stories of town and the retired tales of old can be found in the Town Hall's Old Filing Cabinet. Many, many secrets lie here, so it might not be a bad idea to check it out.
Ready to move into Eternia? Come here to fill out your general information and wait to be accepted so that you can move into town. [Write your bios here]
Have too many neighbors, and can't keep track of them all? Post a thread here, linking to all of your characters, and maybe including a bit about them for quick reference.
At the head of town lies a large arch, made of gray and brown stone that leads into a broad hallway lined with torches with a cobblestone floor. A large set of doors lies at the end, which leads out of Eternia. Two guards stand watch over the gate at all times, and you must be granted permission from them in order to go through the doors.
In the upper left-hand corner of town lies the small shack called Nook's Cranny. Inside, the beaver Tom Nook greets you and keeps an eye on you as you wander around the store, glancing at the limited around of tools, furniture, wallpaper and flooring, stationary, and plants. Prices are relatively low, and if you ask nicely you can get a job here!
In the lower left-hand corner of town lies the small white building with the red-and-green roof that is the Able Sisters' shop. Inside, there are small lines of tables stacked with a nice assortment of fashions, as well as headwear and accessories, and as you wander around the light sound of a sewing machine fills the room.
Down along the shore in the right corner of town lies the two-story wooden building that is the Post Office. Inside is a small couter where Pelly sits during the day and Phyllis sits in the evening, sorting mail and accepting letters. Behind the counter, you will see large bags of mail, and on occasion when you go in there, you'll see Pete picking one up for delivery.
In the dead center of town lies the Town Hall, the large brick building with the clock and bell tower. Inside, you see a counter where Phyllis sits in the morning and Pelly sits in the evening, accepting town donations or town tunes or suggestions on how to make the town better. The mayor sits behind her at his desk, where the Secret Door is next to it, followed by a series of bookcases. To the left is the ATM machine, and to the right is the Recycling Bin.
At the top right corner of town lies the large, white, Roman-style building with two stories and a large telescope sticking out of the back of it. Going inside into a large hall with a grandfather, with six doorways and staircases leading to the observatory, the Cafè, and the fossil, painting, bug, and fish display rooms. Though, not a lot of things have been donated yet.
These small, homely houses dotted around the town belong to the town's Animals. They're filled with matching furniture, and atmosphered with music and bright lighting. Animals, welcome home!
Smaller, more uncommon houses dot some areas of the town. When you get them, all they have is a cardboard box and a candle, but eventually they are decorated with random furniture and sometimes some music. Humans, welcome home!
Those residents that don't wish to own a house and pay the mortgage on it move into the Apartment Complex, a large building located a bit below the museum. There are six floors of apartments, the largest, nicest on the top, and the smallest on the bottom floor. Rent is paid monthy for the apartments.
The outdoors, the territory of the town! Lots of trees, from oaks, to pines, to cherries, to pears, to oranges, to apples, to cocoanuts down by the shore! A river runs through this two-tiered town in two waterfalls that flows into the clear, blue ocean. Neighbors are constantly wandering around, catching bugs and fish, digging up fossils or collecting fruit.
This large store at the head of the city is a huge boutique, with lots of seasonal clothes and fashions. There is also a set of furniture in the corner that is always reccomended for buying (if you can afford it), and lots of people wander around, shopping for something stylish.
Next to Gracie Grace is the small, white building in which the Happy Room Academy headquarters resides, where Lyle sits at the front desk, ready to sign you up and chatter endlessly about nothing. There is a doorway that leads to the model room for the month.
On the other side of Gracie Grace lies the Auction House led by the Gyroid, Lloid. The lively house always has something up for bidding, whether it be furniture or clothing or fossils, there's always something to buy or to put up for auction.
Stop in and see a show! Tickets are 800 bells; just approach the booth and purchase one before heading into the theatre. Inside is two rows of seating, where upon sitting down, Dr. Shrunk will appear and put on... a really lame show?!
At the edge of the City lies a small building with the symbol of the all-seeing eye on the door. Upon going in, you see nothing but Katrina the fortune teller with her crystal ball sitting in a room full of mysterious drapery. Get your fortune told for a mere 100 bells!
On the other side of the city lies a tiny little building with a locked door and a small peephole, where if you are challenged for an invition inside. It's very hard to get one, so good luck getting in.
Ah, the city. A large fountain stands in the center of the square, where all of the shops stand around it. A large clock tower lies at the top of the tallest building. An ATM machine sits on the left side of the square, and on the right is a young boy who will shine your shoes... for the right price. Many people and animals wander around here, interacting and window-shopping.

The weather is hot and humid, it's definetly summer! The cicadas are buzzing, the dragonflies are all over the place, grasshoppers and mantis are all over the place. More fish are beginning to appear as well--catch those catfish if you can! It doesn't rain much, and everything is dry. All of the neighbors are out and about, and many competitions from fishing to bug catching are being held! Have fun!
